A Pittance of Time

The song "A Pittance of Time" was written by Terry Kelly in 1999 after Kelly witnessed a man with his child ignoring the two minutes of silence in a retail outlet during the 11th hour on Remembrance Day. The man not only ignored those two minutes of silence but he also tried to engage a store clerk who was trying to show their respect for the veterans who sacrificed so much. Kelly was angry and concerned for the example it set for the man's child he turned it around into a song.

Taking just two minutes. It's not much time. And Kelly does a wonderful job of expressing it in this song.
